Privacy
Last updated 18 October 2026. Your video never leaves your device.
Your videos
Cutmallow opens, edits and exports your video inside your browser. The file is never uploaded to us or to anyone else. The editor page blocks connections to other servers, so it cannot send your footage anywhere.
What stays on your device
- Your clips and exports, in your browser's private storage, until you delete them
- AI models (for captions, silence and noise features), downloaded once and reused
- Your settings and projects, so you can pick up where you left off
You can clear all of it at any time from your browser's site settings.
What our host sees
The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, it handles basic request data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver pages and keep the site secure. We do not use it to build a profile of you.
No accounts, no tracking cookies
There is no signup, no cookie and no advertising tracker on Cutmallow. The editor, Autopilot, the teleprompter, the Post page and every tool page load no analytics at all: nothing on those pages talks to anyone but us.
Page visits on the information pages
Since 22 October 2026 the information pages (home, about, why Cutmallow, pricing, packs, contact, terms, this page, the tools list and the comparison pages) load Google Analytics in cookieless mode, so we can see how many people visit and where they come from. It runs with every consent setting turned off: it does not set or read cookies, and nothing is used for advertising or ad personalisation. Your browser sends Google the page address, the referring page, the time and its user agent, like any web request. Google says it does not log or store IP addresses for visitors in the EU, Switzerland and the UK, and uses them only to work out a rough location.
If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, Google Analytics is not loaded at all. Blocking it changes nothing on the site.
Anonymous counts we keep
To learn whether the editor works for people, the editor sends a tiny anonymous count to our own server (never to a third party) when one of these happens: a video or the sample is opened, an export finishes or fails, Clean it or captions finish, a Magic tool runs, hook versions are exported, a Studio Pack is previewed, a Buy button is pressed, a pack unlocks, or the editor hits an unexpected error.
Each count carries only the event and a few rough buckets:
- Output shape (9:16, 1:1 or 16:9) and length range (for example "30–60 s")
- Phone, tablet or desktop, and the browser family (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge, Samsung)
- How long ago this browser first used Cutmallow (same day, within a week, within a month, longer). The date of first use stays on your device; only the range is sent.
- For packs: which pack, and which page the Buy button was on
- For errors: the error message, shortened, with numbers, links and file names removed
Never sent: your video, its name or content, captions or text, an ID, a cookie or your IP address in the counts. If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, nothing is counted at all.
Buying a Studio Pack
Checkout happens on the page of Dodo Payments, our merchant of record. They collect your payment details, email and billing country to take the payment, handle tax and send the receipt, undertheir privacy policy. We never see your card or UPI details. To deliver and restore your pack we keep only the payment id, the licence code we issue, and a one-way hash of your email (not the email itself). We count sales by pack and by India or abroad, nothing more.
